fair internet

I used it in the down time

the spoling, the wiating, the lunches, the processing.. my job is clicking alot of buttons and then waiting for stuff to happen

waiting for the system to go and look at all of the employee schedules and find out how much it wants to pay them

finding information from reports to print.

waiting waiting waiting.

so as I was waiting waiting waiting. I used the damn internet.. and I get accused of being unproductive,

but when you compare my productivity to that of my co-woker. I would be at about 300 % and she at about 79%

she takes millions of smoke breaks, and sits there , staring at the screen.

I feel the world is unjust.

why can she get away with being slow and unproductive, because as a human, she is slow and unproductive, and I get accused for being unproductive, because I am efficient and have found ways to cut my work in half.?

I find free time, and i get told that I should be helping others, on top of doing my own work

how is this fair? they pay me for a job, payroll

i do my job.

i get paid

so why is it that if i do my job, to fast, or to well, and then have some free time for me, that I get in shit?

where then there is miss slowpoke. who gets the employee of the year award [ not literally, but its how I feel] and she is the one who can't finish in a day what I finish in an hour, who takes 8 smokes breaks, lucnhes out, and took an ENTIRE month off due to stress or something, and she doesn't get "talked to" or monitored by big brother.

how is all this....

It's not unfortunately :(

Company 'policies' suck big time - especially when they make no sense at all.

Don't forget that this isn't the only job in the world - there's plenty of places that will probably treat you better or at least judge you on performance and not on how much you use the internet...

Hope the situation improves - or even you find something better.
