The cat came back.

I just haven't had an urge to blog lately.. maybe because I still have no home. I have been bouncing around as most know. But its almost over. I moved my bed and dressers and stuff down here on the weekend with some help from the neighbor and got most of it set up, tonight will be the final shuffling of stuff and then maybe even tonight I can sleep there! My own bed!

I can't wait.

In other news. Funny story about cletis the cat. S. has been watching him while I am homeless. and the other day she was out moving stuff to the truck to move to the new place. The cat doesn't ever go out, he is an indoor only cat. she put some boxes in the back yard, moved them to the truck, returned to the house and locked up and left for a few hours. she came back to find the cat sitting outside the back door. thats right outside. he was just sitting there, waiting. looking a little pissed off I imagine. I am sure he thinks she is a mondo bitch. making him sit outside for hours in the snow. she opened the door and he bolted in, obviously thrilled to be back inside.

I am shocked. This is a barn cat that I took from the acreage and got fixed and transformed into a house cat. it was only 2 months ago that he had the freedom of roaming outside through the trees, eating birds, squirrels and whatever else he could catch. why, when left outside for hours, did he not run away. or even go somewhere and perhaps get lost? he didnt even jump the fence of the yard. little kitty tracks marked his path. he went to the gate and looked through, and then back to the door and waited.

I can't wait to see him again, it was thursday since I saw him last. tommorrow we will probably make the move to the new house and I will show him around. I hope he likes it.
