Life In Calgary

So I have been urged to start posting again. I have kind of wanted to for a long time since I got back, but didnt want to continue on the Irish blog and the old one just lost its pull... so here is the new one.

New city: New blog

I may finish working on the Painted Buses weblog one day, but right now I am not bothered.

So Calgary.
I am working part time. 9 -3 pm, as a Payroll clerk / Human Resourses Assistant at CLS.
ask me if you wanna know what that stands for. I am staying around in various places until March when I will be living with my cousin Sue who just bought a place. Possesion is St Patty's Day. Until then I am homeless. house sitting and floating around staying with whoever will take me.

Work is good, still the early stages and so i dont have that much responsibility, nor has the novelty of having my own cubicle, computer, telephone line etc worn off. I get paid weekely, so thats cool b/c i never have to wait for money!

My car has taken a massive turn for the worse and is currently being serviced at Oriental Auto by a Korean man who seems very nice but can not convey to me what he thinks the problem is.

" ohhhh problem.. bery bery hard"

I hope that it is nothing major as I was very accustomed to driving that car and with it being paid off and me having very low insurance rates.. I was in a good place. I do not want to be leasing or getting another car loan.

I know a few people here. So I am not without a bit of a social life.
Travis. my favorite roommate is living here teaching.
Allan. One of the coolest guys I have met in a long time.
Mikey Mac. Old curling friend, we always have a fun time together.
Family. I have an Aunt here, and cousins and they are all cool

As of now.. no 'girl' friends... but I am sure I will meet a few girls being in this city... i have seena a few around.

I found a good place for some cheap wings... cheaper then Edmonton at only 9 cents each! 9 cents! I am going to be a regular.. even if I have to go alone!

as always... feel free to comment
