Monday Monday

Can't Trust that day.... la la lalalala

So...... its not a secret i wasn't feeling too hot. Sunday, or monday for that matter... weekend of partying will do that to a person.

But things can make a day go way way worse.

For example. Turning LEFT.

I was on my way to work. about 7:20 am. feeling like I had definatly not had enough sleep and groaning to myself about the day ahead.....

I turned left. I did not see the sign that says NO LEFT TURNS between the hours of 7 am - 830 am, No, I did not.

and there was a cop there flagging me over. I had no problem stopping. I wasn't really even concerned.. maybe he just wanted to talk, cuz as far as I knew. i had not done anything wrong.
Then he goes. I am pulling you over cuz there is not left turns there. there are 2 signs.

Ok the 2 signs are less the 4 feet from each other and there is so many busses and lights and etc in the area.. i figured it was a bus sign, didn't read it. it was not a dangerous place to turn left. i had turned there many times... just not in between 7 - 830 am

anyways. I get a ticket for that.. he asked for my drivers and quized me about the edmonton address and why i was here. I lied. i didnt want to have to go change it.
then he asks for registration.
its 720 am
I gave him my insurance card.
Cop : Maam.. this is expired. the fine for having expired documents in your car is $176.
me: ummmmmmmmm.....sorry.. one second.
its 721 am
i am rooting through my car in the dark
Cop: The fine for failure to produce is $187....
me: I have it.. one second...
I find it and hand it over.
Cop: you better do some paper work and clean your car of old documents. I wont fine you for that
me: silently thinks..f**** YOU
COP: the fine for not following signs is $172, I am sure if you have a clean record they will reduce it if you go in.
Me: oh, OK
Cop: Have a nice day.

So as you can see i spent the rest of the day annoyed at the bastard.
its not like i was recklessly driving.. could he havenot cut me a break?! after all.. i am from edmonton and I told him i had only been in calgary a few days.....
