Today

today is Saturday

I dreamed of recruiting people. never ending recruiting. but i didnt know what for. I was tired, i was hot, I had the window open, winter air flowing in, and the fan on, and still i woke up sweating, the back of my neck wet from heat, my hair damp, my sheets damp. I switched sides of the bed, to try again, to get some sleep. I fell back into a dream of recruitment.

I organized my room, and helped move some insanely heavy funiture downstairs.

"You know this is staying down here forever?" I say

I know, I know she tells me.

we continue. parts are scary. Stairs are scary

We watch movies and order pizza

i think about the night before. I was out for dinner. With the EX. the UN-Date.

We went to Red Water Grill. The food was good. The atmosphere cozy. The feeling in the air awkwardly normal. we talked of things that people talk about. Real estate, Weather, Work, Weekends. A few awkward smiles. a few honest laughs. It seems so normal. Its not normal.
We leave the Grill and go to the Theatre. Borat is calling. We watch the movie, the entire room is laughing. Awkward laughs for inappropriate comments. Scenes of crazy. Laughing through.
We leave in good spirits. the movie was funny. comical. awkward. I drop him off at his car. He gives me a quick kiss and says bye, and drives away. I'll call you, he said.

I drive home, wondering,
